EVER THOUGHT OF HOW BEAUTIFUL A HAIRPIN COULD BE... :)
2 years ago            0

Kanzashi is the art and craft of the traditional ornamental hairpin worn by Japanese women. First introduced to Japan centuries ago, they were quite prominent during the Edo era, where hairstyles were larger and more complicated. Over time, the use of kanzashi has declined, as more women prefer a more Westernize style. Take a look at these and you would want them right now.. :) They reflect the passion of Japanese artist Sakae. to see more of her work visit her facebook page below..

I am a keen designer and a nature lover. Along with commercial designing, sewing wallets and jute bags and making something useful and beautiful out from waste materials are the things that I enjoy the most.
